Day 1 – Caesarea, Haifa |
8:00 – Meeting Guided visit to the Roman Period ancient port-city of Caesarea: Herodian Theater, Ancient Ruins, Historic Sites. Haifa and Haifa Bay view from the Mt. Carmel, Bahai gardens tour. 18:00 – Dinner and Drum Solo Belly dance workshop on the beach Drive to Beit Jan |
Day 2 – Acre (Akko), Zefat, Beit Jan |
9:00 – drive to Akko Tour to the old Akko sites: ruins and buildings from the Hellenistic-Roman period and from the Ottoman and Crusader periods, the city walls, colorful oriental market, the Fisherman’s Port and the marina. Guided visit to Zefat (Safed) – one of the four ancient holy cities in Israel and Kabbala center. Beit Jan – a Druze village in the center upper Galilee, one of the highest inhabited locations in the country. A short tour in the village, check in and dinner. 19:00 pm – Baladi Belly dance workshop |
Day 3 – Nazareth, Tabor mt., Sea of Galilee (Kinneret) |
Nazareth – one of the most important Christian sites in the world, a city known for its fascinating archeology, spiritual aspects, and variety of ethnic groups living side by side. Visit to Mt. Tabor and Franciscan Church of the Transfiguration on it's peak. Guided tour to the Sea of Galilee: Capernaum, Tabgha, Yardenit 15:30 – Lunch Sail on wooden boat built according to the model of the authentic ancient boat. 17:00 – Modern Belly dance workshop on the boat 19:00 – back to the hotel/airport. |
